The Pacific Seeds for Life (PS4L) initiative works with countries to develop sustainable seed systems that supports Pacific farmers by providing access to, and utilisation of, quality seeds for both horticulture and clonal climate smart crops to improve the region’s food and nutrition security. Recognising the need for effective seed marketing system and fostering community-based seed production programmes to strengthen national seed initiatives, PS4L supports resilient and healthy food production systems and strengthens the Pacific’s agricultural capacity through mechanisms and policy environments.
