The Centre for Pacific Crops and Trees (CePaCT) is in the process of establishing a fully-fledged Genebank Information System to be called the Pacific Genetic Resources Information System – PacGRIS. This information system aims to provide user-friendly germplasm information services to all users of CePaCT materials. PacGRIS will use the GRINGlobal infrastructure that will not only help to manage information flow within the CePaCT genebank itself but that will also include a website interface for public access to information on the collections and accessions that are available for access, including their unique features and traits. CePaCT expects PacGRIS to be fully operational by the end of 2022.
