The Agriculture Systems Programme supports Pacific countries in strengthening resilient, productive and sustainable agricultural systems that can withstand climate change, market pressures, and evolving food security needs. The programme brings science, innovation and practical field support directly to Pacific farmers, extension officers and national institutions.
Our purpose
To enhance Pacific food and nutrition security by improving the performance, resilience and sustainability of crop, livestock and mixed farming systems. This programme is central to LRD’s mandate to strengthen agricultural production systems and build resilience across Pacific communities.
