The Pacific Agricultural Value Chains Portal – AgLInks – is a one stop shop for the latest information and tools on linking small-holder farmers to markets.

Agricultural value chains describe the flow of goods from farm to fork, and the flow of information and finance in the other direction. Yet these chains are undergoing a transformation, with the result that actors within it to become increasingly interdependent.

Value Chain Analysis helps us to understand the big issues associated with these changes, and how to take advantage of greater value generated by it. It helps us to identify that there are risks and opportunities for all the actors in the chain– Farmers, Industry, Government - as well as tools to assist actors to respond to, and succeed, in an environment of change.

‘With support from the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA) we have been able to develop a new web portal for accessing information and resources important to linking to market – Pacific AgLinks – which is designed to be of practical use to farmers, government, industry and other stakeholders.’

You can find all this and more by clicking on the Pacific Agricultural Value Chain Portal.

This project is supported by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA).
